Eagle claw boxing is an animal-imitation style, and was originally called Eagle Claw Fanzi Walking Boxing, Eagle Claw Walking Boxing or Eagle Claw Linking Boxing. By absorbing some techniques of Yue-style boxing, and imitating the grasp of eagle claws and the soaring of it wings, Eagle Claw Fanzi Quan was created from the basic movements of Fanzi Quan.
