Manuscript Submission
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Homa & Sekey Book publishes both fiction and nonfiction titles. We welcome
authors to contact us for publication considerations. There are two ways
authors can approach us: send a query or submit your proposal package.
WHAT TO SEND WHEN YOU QUERY US
Please include a brief synopsis of about 250 words, table of contents if any,
and one or two chapters of the book for our review. Authors are encouraged to
send your credentials for the writing or your resume with the query though
not required. Query is accepted through mail, fax or internet. No telephone
query. We will report on query within four weeks of receipt.
WHAT TO SEND WHEN YOU SUBMIT YOUR PROPOSAL PACKAGE
Please submit a cover letter proposing your book, a brief synopsis of about
250 words, the complete book, author credentials for the writing or author
resume, and a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) with adequate return
postage. Proposal package is accepted through postal mail and internet.
For those submitting their manuscripts in electronic format through postal
mail, please save your document in Rich Text Format on a 3.5 diskette, zip
disk or CD-ROM (all PC format).
We accept simultaneous submissions, but authors should let us know if such is
the case. We will report on proposal package within eight to ten weeks of
manuscript receipt.
