About the Author

 

Wang Qi, whose courtesy name is Ziyi, was born in Hangzhou, China. Majoring in heritage and museum, he graduated from the History Department of Hangzhou University (now Zhejiang University) in 1987. He has worked at the Jiangxi Provincial Museum, the Shunde Museum, the Guangdong Museum of Art, and the Yangcheng Evening News. As an expert, he is dedicated to the study of ancient history, ancient pottery and porcelain as well as ancient patterns.
