The more genuine schools of Sufism have done good work in shaping and directing the evolution of religious experiences in Islam but on the later day representatives, owing to the ignorance of the modern mind, have become incapable of receiving fresh inspiration from modern thought and experience. In these lectures the Author had tried to meet the urgent need to reconstruct Muslim religious philosophy with regards to philosophical traditions of Islam and recent developments in the domains of human knowledge.
