About the Author/Editor

Born in Guangdong Province, China, Ren Rongrong is a well-known writer of children's books and famous translator of children's literary works. Throughout his career, Ren has written many award-winning children’s works such as Dopey and Grumpy, A Gifted Acrobatic Performer, and I Became an Invisible Man. Ren has also translated a large number of famous children's literary works from Russian, English, Italian and Japanese, such as The Complete Andersen's Fairy Tales, Pushkin's Fairy Tales, Pinocchio, Peter Pan, Pippi Longstocking, and Russian Folk Tales. He received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Translation at the Second National Translation Conference in 2012.
