The techniques of traditional Yang-style taiji pushing hands can be described in five key words: tumble, strike, capture, seize, and throw. This set of pushing hands was passed on by Master Hu Xingzhai, the disciple of Yang Jianhou who was the second generation of Yang-style taiji.

The features of double push hands are: on the basis of single pushing hand, connect two arms, and both hands should lead and follow. The former is leading and the latter is following. Following is to stick, and the cross-use of sticking can make the two arms keep connecting. Then your head should be raised, your neck upright and your hips lowered. Relax your chest and abdomen and make your back comfortable.
